Tilbury Douglas leads construction work on one-stop treatment hub

Work has started on a new breast cancer unit at Yeovil District Hospital.
Contactor, Tilbury Douglas, has been commissioned to deliver the £2.5m facility for Yeovil District Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The two-storey unit, which is located next to the Women’s Hospital, was procured via the Procure Partnerships Framework and will enable patients to receive all of their tests in one purpose-built facility, making the experience less stressful and more comfortable.
Services will include clinical examination, ultrasound scans, mammograms, biopsies, prosthesis fitting, and specialist nursing.
